Short version: Lalea is a language-learning tool. It does not host, stream or share films, and it does not offer subtitles for download. If you own the rights to a work and think Lalea keeps something it should not, write to us and we will remove it.

What Lalea keeps

Video always plays from the user's own server; Lalea never stores it. To show two lines on screen, Lalea keeps prepared lines of a film (AI translations and, for Pro, text recognised from speech). They belong to the account they were prepared for: they are shown only to that account, inside the player, and are never shared with other users, offered for download or published on public pages. The dual subtitle tool returns a file only to the person who built it from their own files. A saved word keeps one short line as its example.

How to report

What we do

We reply within 5 working days. When a notice is complete, we remove the lines prepared for that work from Lalea and block them from being prepared again, and tell the user concerned. If you believe a removal was a mistake, write to the same address and explain why.

Repeat infringers

We close the accounts of users who repeatedly use Lalea to infringe others' rights.
